||
On Saturday 29th of May 2010, the students of the Master's Programme Land Management and Land Tenure went on a fieldtrip to the district of Miesbach in Upper Bavaria and visited good practice examples on local entrepreneurship supported by the Savings Bank Miesbach-Tegernsee. Director Georg Bromme and Mr. Peter-Friedrich Sieben organized the fieldtrip which was entirely sponsored by the Savings Bank Miesbach-Tegernsee and accompanied the group in the visit to interesting examples of successful local investment initiatives with relevance to regional development. One of this examples was the Natural Cheese Dairy Tegernseer Land, a cooperative of farmers which was able to combine forces and establish a high quality cheese production firm in the district and supply its products to major distributors all over the Region. Furthermore, the group visited the Bavarian Whisky destillery "Slyrs" another example of successful local entrepeneurship supported by the local Savings Bank. The fieldtrip was complemented with a trip to the mountain summit of the Rosskopf and the Bräustüberl in Tegernsee both being very good examples of the Bavarian culture. |
