Visit of Ms. Alexandra Pres (InWEnt) to the Chair of Land Management on February 4th 2010
Alexandra Pres, Head of Division Rural Development, Food and Consumer Protection of InWEnt visited the Chair of Land Management on February 4th 2010 to discuss possible collaboration initiatives for the near future.
Inwent is a non-profit German organisation with worldwide operations dedicated to human resource development, advanced training, and dialogue. Its building programmes are directed at experts and executives from politics, administration, the business community, and civil society (www.inwent.org).
Some of the key aspects addressed by InWEnt in its wide-ranging international training programmes include Rural Development, Food and Consumer Protection, Natural Resources, Biodiversity, Environment, Energy and Water among many others.
With a view at the common interests with our Chair, concrete steps were discussed in order to begin the development of a long term partnership.
The key aspects to address in the near future are:
- exchange of academic modules,
- joint excursions and
- joint advisory activities for curriculum development in academic institutions abroad.
